SCENARI 2016 - Analysis and electrical scenarios, energy, environmental
The presentation shows the recent evolution of the Italian power system, characterized by a significant penetration of renewable sources, and deals with the future evolution, in view of 2030 and 2050 decarbonization targets.
The presentation shows the recent evolution of the Italian power system, characterized by a significant penetration of renewable sources, in particular non-programmable ones, showing the impact that they have caused on power flows in the transmission network, on exchanges between transmission and distribution, on the residual demand and on price profiles of the electricity market.
Then, the 2030 and 2050 decarbonization targets foreseen by the European climate-energy policy are presented, showing that the share of renewable sources in the power system will still have to grow in a significant way.
