Materials and Generation Technologies Department (TGM)
To develop activities of study, research and experimentation on the main current and future power generation technologies in order to improve the energy, economic and environmental performance of the generation system; to promote the diversification of the energy sources and reduce "greenhouse gases" emissions; to improve plant performance by reducing the primary energy consumption and the cost of produced energy and to provide the services required by the power transmission and distribution; to develop and characterize new materials and new uses of existing materials, for both structural and functional purposes of interest to the energy system.
