{"id":188428,"date":"2024-06-13T15:12:10","date_gmt":"2024-06-13T13:12:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rse-web.it\/laboratori\/experimental-photovoltaic-plant\/"},"modified":"2024-07-02T11:05:53","modified_gmt":"2024-07-02T09:05:53","slug":"experimental-photovoltaic-plant","status":"publish","type":"laboratori","link":"https:\/\/www.rse-web.it\/en\/laboratories\/experimental-photovoltaic-plant\/","title":{"rendered":"Experimental Photovoltaic Plant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"last-updated-date\">Recently updated on July 2nd, 2024 at 11:05 am<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The experimental photovoltaic plant carries out energy characterization of innovative components of photovoltaic plants, either isolated or grid-connected<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":464,"featured_media":152827,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"tags":[1328],"targets":[1317],"laboratori_tipologie":[755],"class_list":["post-188428","laboratori","type-laboratori","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","tag-photovoltaics","targets-research","laboratori_tipologie-impianti-pilota-en"],"acf":{"dont_show_hompage":true,"order_posts":"","dont_show_search":false,"single_post_data":{"titolo_spot":"","post_content":"<p>The <em>experimental photovoltaics plant<\/em> has a total capacity of 13 kW, consists of a total of 400 30-cell monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules equipped with aluminum frames, of which only 396 are electrically connected.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The photovoltaic modules are connected in series so as to form groups called strings.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The plant is divided into 5 fields named C6, C7, C8, C9 and C10 and 8 subfields consisting of a variable number of modules and equipped with their own inverters (for a total of 8 inverters).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the photovoltaic modules, the plant is equipped with inverters that functionally divide the plant into the same number of subfields consisting of a variable number of modules each.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The apparatus for converting electricity from direct current to alternating current consists of 8 inverters, connected to the existing three-phase power line and appropriately balancing the output powers from the inverters.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The photovoltaic plant is equipped with a data acquisition system, which uses both measurements of electrical quantities provided by the inverter and those provided by appropriate electrical and meteorological sensors.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Operating data are collected and processed to determine the performance of the system in accordance with standard CEI EN 61724 (Survey of the performance of photovoltaic plants &#8211; Guidelines for measurement, exchange and analysis of data).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In particular, according to the provisions of this standard, the overall accuracy of the entire measurement chain (sensors + converters) must be better than: 5% for solar irradiance; 1\u00b0C for temperature measurement; 2% for measurement of current, voltage, and power.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Measurement accuracy should be maintained over the life of the plant.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/RSE-scheda-Lab-Fotovoltaico-2020-DEF-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Download laboratory data sheet<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/I92aP2yIPtE?list=PLcnaxYFjsTTV2VAyv88f5JPl1pqG5irbq\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Watch laboratory video<\/a><\/p>\n","scarica_file":false,"link_estreno":false,"button":{"text":"Test Facility","link":"\/laboratori\/laboratorio-test-facility-di-generazione-distribuita-in-bassa-tensione-32\/"},"acronimo":"Experimental Photovoltaics","referente_group":[{"referente_utente":{"value":"giosue.maugeri@rse-web.it","label":"Giosu\u00e8 Maugeri"}}],"referente_info_doc":false,"data_emissione":"","laboratory_activity_period":"","autori":"","durata":"","rif_rse":""},"related_posts":false,"show_on_slider":false,"satellite_post_url":""},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 -
