The Sensors and Instrumentation Laboratory is primarily dedicated to designing, developing, and creating innovative sensors and measurement systems for energy applications. The laboratory is equipped with instruments and materials for developing sensors, including micro- and nano-sized ones. Based on research needs, we design instruments for measurement and diagnostics in the energy field.

\nThese instruments can be based on various types of sensors, such as electric field sensors, magnetic field sensors, voltage sensors, current sensors, partial discharge diagnostics sensors, temperature sensors, humidity sensors, acceleration sensors, position sensors, strain sensors, stress sensors, gas sensors, LASER source cable sag measurement sensors, sensors for environmental spectroscopy, optical interferometry, wireless sensors powered by environmental radio waves, and application of MEMS (microelectromechanical systems) and NEMS (nanoelectromechanical systems) devices in the energy field.
