According to the recent forest inventory, Italy uses only 30% of the wood that grows each year, compared to an average of 75% in Europe\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cForests in Europe and Italy are increasing in size by an average of 0.8% per year, due to the abandonment of marginal lands that are no longer profitable for traditional agriculture.
