At the 92nd Annual Meeting of the International Commission On Large Dams (ICOLD), held in New Delhi from 27 September to 3 October 2024, Antonella Frigerio, Deputy Director of RSE’s Sustainable Development and Energy Sources Department, was appointed Chair of the Technical Committee A \u201cComputational aspects of analysis and design of dams\u201d.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
In this new challenge, Antonella Frigerio will be joined by Russell Gunn, deputy head of the Dam Safety and Surveillance Department of the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE), appointed co-chair of TC-A, and by Prof. Gerald Zenz of the Graz University of Technology, former co-chair of TC-A.<\/p>\n

The aim of the new leadership is to give continuity to the numerous activities carried out by TC-A since the early 1990s under the leadership of Prof. Michele Fanelli and promoted in recent years with great enthusiasm and involvement by Guido Mazz\u00e0, President of ITCOLD.<\/p>\n
