RSE<\/strong> From October 16 to 18, RSE<\/strong> was at Fiera Roma, taking part in the 2024 edition of ZeroEmission Mediterranean<\/strong>, the fair dedicated to renewable energy and the most advanced technologies for the production, storage and distribution of clean energy.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n RSE, together with CSEA<\/strong>, ENEA<\/strong> and CNR<\/strong>, operated the stand dedicated to System Research<\/strong> (RdS), ), in pavilion 3, with the mobile Laboratory of Immersive Reality, where visitors can find out all about the research projects of the national energy sector through virtual experiences.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n At the stand, Irene Quinzeni from the Department of Generation Technologies and Materials illustrated prototypes of sodium-ion batteries, electrodes and laboratory cells, offering a concrete and live demonstration of the tangible results of RSE research. Specifically, the demonstrations included a laboratory cell associated with a solar simulator and examples of electrodes for the study of the photoelectrochemical water splitting process, together with active materials for the development of batteries and aqueous sodium ion supercapacitors.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n There were also numerous workshops, in which RSE provided an overview of the key issues of the energy transition.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n On the opening day, October 16, the Project Leader Matteo Zulianello<\/strong> explored the topic of Renewable Energy Communities during the following events:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n On October 17, Project Leader Salvatore Guastella<\/strong> illustrated RSE’s point of view on photovoltaics:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n On the final day of October 18, Project Leader Alberto Gelmini<\/strong> attended the workshop remotely:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n On the same day, the Research Group Leader Giuseppe Mauri<\/strong> spoke remotely at the session:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In the afternoon of October 18, Project Leader Omar Perego<\/strong> shared RSE\u2019s perspective during the meeting:<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"http:\/\/wwwprod.rse-web.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/3_image00006-1024x768.jpeg\")
