\nThe activity of studying membrane-metal junctions was first focused on automating the deposition process of the glass splicing layer in order to achieve a junction with controlled thickness and morphology. The robocasting technique was chosen as the solution for making junctions in a controlled and reproducible manner. In addition to this, junction tests using commercial glass-ceramic confirmed that minimizing the differences in dilatometric behavior between the spliced layers is crucial to ensure the integrity of the sealant layer. A thermomechanical model confirmed that the observed cracks were due to stresses caused by differential thermal expansion. The junction made by coupling the ceramic and metal with the lowest CTE, 70CGO-30LSCF and ODS steel, respectively, showed a clear improvement in the microstructure of the glass-ceramic.<\/p>\n
\nTest results on metal-ceramic junctions find application in research aimed at using industrial thermal waste for energy-efficient production of oxygen in industrial processes.<\/p>\n
