The analysis shows that dual phase membranes exhibit greater resistance to chemical expansion phenomena in comparison with LSCF and BSCF single phase membranes. This results in a more linear thermal expansion with temperature and a lower thermal expansion coefficient, making dual phase composites particularly suitable for metal-ceramic junctions. It is clear from the literature that the focus of research should be on improving stability, both thermo-mechanical and chemical, under operating conditions in order to bring membrane technology closer to real-world applications.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>APPLICATIONS<\/strong><br \/>\nThe literature review on alternative materials for preparing membranes for oxygen separation can be applied in research aimed at exploiting industrial thermal waste for the energy-efficient production of oxygen in industrial processes.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>USERS<\/strong><br \/>\nIndustrial operators with high-temperature processes.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>FOCUS<\/strong><br \/>\nF.
