\nDESCRIPTION<\/strong>:
\nSPHERA is a research code for computational fluid dynamics based on the Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) numerical method. This code has been validated in various fields, including:
\n
\nVarious types of floods, including those involving the transport of solid bodies, transport of bed load, flood protection works, flood-induced damage, and spatial coverage over areas of hundreds of square kilometers.
\nLandslides.
\nSloshing motions in fuel tanks.
\nSurface waves.
\nRemoval of sediment from water tanks.
\nVersion 10 of SPHERA introduces new features allowing the simulation of linear marine wave propagation, their transported power, wave-structure interactions in the presence of floating solid bodies of complex shapes, and the use of thin-wall wave generators.

\nAPPLICATIONS<\/strong>:
\nPossible applications include studies on floods, landslides, marine waves, impulse hydraulic turbines, transport of solid bodies and sediment in fluid flows.
