On the first anniversary of Massimo Gallanti\u2019s passing, we are publishing the volume entitled \u201cThe Development of the Electricity and Energy Systems: Massimo Gallanti\u2019s 30-Year Research Contribution\u201d in RSE’s Colloquia series. Together with a small collection of scientific papers written by him, the volume collects contributions by personalities from the world of energy in Italy who had long, deep and rewarding opportunities to work with him.<\/p>\n
Its goal is thus to recall his professional, scientific and human figure, who played such a large part in shaping our Research Organization and whom we hope to honor by continuing in the work he conceived. The volume will be distributed to whoever wishes to keep a copy and will provide the basis for the public conference tentatively scheduled for November 26, 2020.<\/p>\n
It will be the first in a series of annual events we wish to dedicate to him. \u201cThirty Years of Energy System Research: the Legacy of Massimo Gallanti and Scenario Developments as an Energy Policy Tool\u201d.
