It is the first project of this scale in Europe, covering all areas of renewable energy technologies: photovoltaics, concentrated solar energy, hydrogen, biofuels, wind energy, ocean energy, integrated energy networks, energy storage, materials research, and Information and Communication Technologies.<\/p>\n<p>RISEnergy brings together a consortium of 69 beneficiaries from 22 countries: ERIC institutions, technological institutes, universities, and industrial partners, and aims to enable proactive innovation management, as well as provide transnational access to the consortium&#8217;s facilities (84 research infrastructures from 19 European countries, United States, Canada and Japan) to support the development of renewable energy and provide quality services for academia, industry, and SMEs.
