Additionally, energy networks have also been impacted, primarily due to changes in people&#8217;s lifestyles during the 2020 lockdown periods. Particularly during the pandemic, a significant decrease in electricity demand was observed. Lockdown measures to address the health crisis caused one of the most significant impacts on electrical networks in recent years.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This article presents experiences related to the distribution network of Milan, a city in northern Italy. The analysis summarizes the restrictions imposed throughout 2020, focusing on the impacts on active\/reactive power flows and faults. A comparison with 2019 data was conducted to highlight the main differences observed in 2020.
