In transmission and distribution networks, PQ phenomena are often measured by inductive voltage transformers (VT) installed for measurement and\/or protection applications. The accuracy requirements of VTs should ideally be met under real operating conditions, which can differ from calibration conditions, particularly due to the presence of environmental or circuit-related influencing factors.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The impact of such influencing factors on the performance of VTs in PQ measurements is an open issue, not fully addressed in the literature. In this context, the present work introduces a simplified numerical-experimental model of medium voltage (MV) inductive VTs, which can be used for analyzing the broadband behavior of VTs in PQ applications, even in the presence of one or more influencing factors.
