The concept of resilience, therefore, plays a key role in dealing with extreme weather events and improving system performance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This paper describes anti-torsional devices, a capital-light measure to reinforce infrastructure against wet snow events. To quantify their benefits, a model of these devices is proposed and applied within Terna-RSE\u2019s risk-based methodology aimed at assessing investments to enhance the resilience of the power system.
