In this context, a good estimate of the time necessary to recover the electricity service and infrastructure plays an important role for restoration management. The paper proposes a quantitative methodology to simulate the process of restoring the electricity service and infrastructure with its uncertainties, highlighting the dependence of the main recovery characteristics (e.g. duration, energy not supplied) on different technical and environmental aspects (e.g. visibility, usability of roads, etc.).
