This paper proposes a probabilistic algorithm for preventive redispatching for conventional generators aimed at ensuring N-1 security in the presence of correlated uncertainties of renewables and loads. The algorithm combines the third-order polynomial normal transformation, the Point Estimate Method, and the Cornish Fisher expansion to characterize probability constraints in a linear programming-based optimization problem.
