The determination of the nominal power, as well as an energy measure, for such photovoltaic modules is complicated by the fact that, in some cases, the power is a strong and discontinuous function of the angle of incidence (AOI). For this reason, the IEC 61853 and IEC 62670 standards do not sufficiently cover the specific requirements and procedures that are necessary for the performance evaluation of CPV\/PV modules. The standard conditions for evaluating the power produced by hybrid CPV\/PV modules must also be differentiated from those used to characterize flat or CPV PV modules.
