This article examines the impact on the European electricity system of a failure to supply generation from nuclear sources due to outages. To this end, a scenario was developed for 2030, considering simultaneous detachments of nuclear generation plants for 15 GW. The scenario analysis was performed by implementing the PLEXOS simulation tool.
