This work contributes to existing research by proposing and validating (through field monitoring) a new lumped parameter simulation model for hybrid solar collectors. A modeling approach similar to a resistive model is used to solve heat transfer problems. Simulation results were compared with experimental data collected under different meteorological conditions. The results were analyzed in terms of both average daily performance and instantaneous quantities of the variables characterizing the system.
