Multienergy systems, which integrate electricity, heat, and gas, offer a promising solution for improving the performance and flexibility of energy systems. However, managing these systems is challenging due to the continuous need to deliver energy to users. Experimental networks are valuable platforms for developing innovative technologies and strategies to improve the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of heating systems. To overcome this drawback, experimental networks serve as invaluable testbeds for exploring innovative technologies and strategies aimed at enhancing the efficiency, reliability, flexibility, and sustainability of heating systems.<\/p>\n

This paper deals with the development and implementation of an experimental facility for district heating networks with flexibility in configuration and operation and the capability to operate under new-generation conditions.
