This report documents the contributions provided by RSE in the various dissemination areas for the dissemination of the WP results. Common technical-scientific tools were used, such as the publication of papers at conferences in the electro-energy and ICT sectors, and presentations at national and international events. Specific meetings were also organized with operators of the electricity and energy networks, IT and telecommunications industries. Visits to the RSE IoT\/BigData laboratory were also organized by the stakeholders with the aim of presenting the IT and technological platforms developed in the project, as well as the Evolved Prosumer (PREVO) laboratory and the RSE distributed generation Test Facility with which the IT platforms are connected.<\/p>\n
The dissemination of the results also involved the regulatory or pre-normative committees (in particular in the CEI, IEC and CIGRE areas) and the regulatory authority ARERA: meetings were organized and contributions on specific topics of interest were prepared. For CEI CT 57 “Information exchange associated with the management of electrical power systems”, in collaboration with e-distribuzione and CESI, RSE coordinated the activity of the committee in which utilities, manufacturers, and service providers participated. By participating in CEI CT 13 “Measurement and control of electrical energy” and CT 310 “Power Line Communications”, RSE contributed to the evolution of standards for second generation electronic meters, which enable flexible and efficient energy management by users. On this topic, RSE also contributed to the field monitoring initiative, promoted by ARERA, of the performance of the power line communication channel towards user devices made available with the new second generation energy meters.<\/p>\n
Also of interest to the regulator was the study on the possible architectures and communication standards applicable for data exchange between TSOs, DSOs and significant network users for the safe operation of the national electricity system, which proved useful for the implementation of the Directive (EU) 2017\/1485 at the national level.<\/p>\n
At an institutional level, RSE participated in the group of experts on blockchain and data ledger technologies established at the MISE, contributing to the definition of the national strategy for these technologies based on distributed ledgers.<\/p>\n
The report documents the actions carried out in the various dissemination areas, together with the list of available publications.
