The tests were conducted at 950 \u00b0C, a temperature that is representative of the expected operating conditions of the modules in an industrial environment; the results obtained are compared with previously acquired and documented results of similar tests also conducted at room temperature.<\/p>\n<p>The data obtained from the individual tests were processed according to the provisions of international standards on the characterization of ceramic materials, and two parameters &#8211; deduced by applying Weibull statistics to acquired data &#8211; were identified to be used in the design phase of modules in order to take into account the mechanical resistance of the material to be used.<\/p>\n<p>The probability of breakage of some possible different versions of the ceramic modules was estimated based on the data deduced from the results of hot mechanical tests; in the geometries of the modules, the channels in which the mixture of the <em>sweep gas<\/em> and the oxygen permeated through the membrane will run have different widths that were established after considering the actual &#8211; and verified &#8211; practical feasibility of the artifacts to be assembled to make up the module.<\/p>\n","link_estreno":false,"scarica_file":[{"download_option":"download","file_name":"Download Report","download":{"ID":166118,"id":166118,"title":"20010736","filename":"20010736.pdf","filesize":4852253,"url":"https:\/\/www.rse-web.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/20010736.pdf","link":"https:\/\/www.rse-web.it\/en\/rapporti\/caratterizzazione-meccanica-delle-membrane-realizzate-a-temperatura-ambiente-e-ad-alta-temperatura\/attachment\/20010736\/","alt":"","author":"93","description":"","caption":"","name":"20010736","status":"inherit","uploaded_to":166117,"date":"2022-05-10 10:05:03","modified":"2022-05-10 10:05:03","menu_order":0,"mime_type":"application\/pdf","type":"application","subtype":"pdf","icon":"https:\/\/www.rse-web.it\/wp-includes\/images\/media\/document.png"}}],"button":{"text":"","link":""},"referente_group":false,"data_emissione":"2020-12-30","autori":"A.
