This information is key to support decision makers in defining appropriate governance policies to enable the sector to contribute to the achievement of the decarbonization goals set out in the country&#8217;s regulatory framework, in particular by the NECP.<br \/>\nAs far as the residential sector is concerned, the report aims to complete the analyses begun in 2019 on \u201cenergy metabolism\u201d by reconstructing the energy flows and resources required to meet the needs of individual households in order to estimate the overall energy balance of the residential sector at the national level; in addition, two different long-term scenarios (up to 2050) have been developed to complement the research conducted in the previous three years.<br \/>\nIn order to complete the activity just described, a survey has been carried out in collaboration with the company Doxa, with the aim to identify the characteristics and consumption habits of Italian households, together with their point of view on energy issues.<\/p>\n<p>As for the tertiary sector, three works carried out with the final goal of providing an overall picture of the sector&#8217;s energy consumption are described in this report.<br \/>\nThe first work consisted of the creation of an electricity consumption forecasting model (applied to the Italian hotel sector as an illustrative case) in a Matlab environment; the model has then been used in the second work, in which an estimate of the tertiary sector&#8217;s energy consumption has been derived via the reconstruction of energy flows with the aim of identifying the most energy-intensive categories. The BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology has been used, which has allowed for the modeling of a series of model buildings related to 6 different areas within the tertiary sector (offices, large-scale retail-GDO, retail, hotels, hospitals, and restaurants).<br \/>\nFinally, as a third activity, the second phase of the in-depth survey launched in 2020 on the energy characteristics of the main sectors operating within the tertiary sector and carried out in collaboration with the company GfK Italia has been completed; the outcomes have given an idea of the energy characteristics of the main companies operating in the sector in Italy; this information has also been used as a spot dataset to validate the results of the energy consumption estimation of the sector and assess its potential for consumption reduction.<\/p>\n","link_estreno":false,"scarica_file":[{"download_option":"download","file_name":"Download Report","download":{"ID":173231,"id":173231,"title":"21009860","filename":"21009860.pdf","filesize":2728141,"url":"https:\/\/www.rse-web.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/21009860.pdf","link":"https:\/\/www.rse-web.it\/en\/rapporti\/la-modellazione-integrata-dei-consumatori-e-dei-flussi-di-energia-nel-settore-civile-scenari-di-decarbonizzazione\/attachment\/21009860\/","alt":"","author":"93","description":"","caption":"","name":"21009860","status":"inherit","uploaded_to":173230,"date":"2022-11-09 14:03:35","modified":"2022-11-09 14:03:35","menu_order":0,"mime_type":"application\/pdf","type":"application","subtype":"pdf","icon":"https:\/\/www.rse-web.it\/wp-includes\/images\/media\/document.png"}}],"button":{"text":"","link":""},"referente_group":false,"data_emissione":"2021-12-31","autori":"S.
