Additionally, the development of a modeling system for air quality analysis progressed, with a particular focus on the mobility scenario resulting from the COVID-19 health emergency restrictions. The pandemic situation also prompted an investigation into the effects of widespread adoption of smart working on traffic and emissions. Finally, technical and economic evaluations were conducted on the potential for converting waste collection vehicles, public transport boats on lakes, and large stationary ships to electric power.<\/p>\n<p>In the second WP, \u201cElectric Mobility and its Integration and Interaction with the Power System,\u201d the focus was on the flexibility that can be offered through the proper management of electric vehicles during charging. A new stochastic optimization model was developed for planning charging in the case study of providing grid services by a corporate fleet, taking into account various forms of uncertainty. To facilitate field experimentation, the electrification plan for the RSE corporate fleet was initiated, and electrical and construction work was completed to create an experimental charging area, in addition to the two bidirectional Vehicle-To-Grid (V2G) charging stations integrated and tested in the RSE \u201cTest Facility\u201d laboratory.
