The document analyses in detail a possible scenario for the management of vessels, now operating on diesel fuel, converted to mixed electric-alternative fuel on a route connecting an Italian mainland port and a small island.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Assessments have been made about the vessels&#8217; refueling requirements. The results show a generally not favorable situation for switching to alternative fuels.
