In fact, the PNIEC-2023 not only sets a 2030 target of photovoltaic capacity of 80 GW installed on the national territory, but also sets the objective of reaching an annual generation of 100 TWh. In this context, the technology based on bifacial modules installed on single axis solar tracking systems is considered the solution to achieve the above annual generation objective.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The optimal use of bifacial modules, in a fixed position or with solar tracking, was investigated in this work with the aim of analysing their behaviour, both modelling and optimizing electrical producibility, depending on the type of modules and their installation, as well as changes in the installation site.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For this purpose, in collaboration with the University of Bologna thanks to the co-financing of a PhD scholarship issued under the PNRR, an analysis of the modelling algorithms already available in the literature was conducted to identify the significant parameters necessary to improve modelling algorithms or to develop a new one; The production forecasts obtained with the currently most used algorithms and the measurements carried out experimentally were analysed; these comparisons showed a good correlation in the case of monofacial modules but an insufficient correlation in the case of bifacial modules and with higher errors in short-term comparisons (3 months) rather than in long-term ones (1 year).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Experimental activities were also conducted, to collect operational data necessary for the evaluation of the algorithms, at the RSE Photovoltaic Test Field in Milan, while it is planned to extend them at the RSE Photovoltaic Test Field in Piacenza, specifically designed for this purpose and currently under construction.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In this work, an appropriate testing plan was planned for this new test field on bifacial modules on fixed installation and solar tracking for comparison with monofacial modules on fixed inclination and a tracking system was adequately configured to evaluate performance. of such facilities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Report is available on the Italian site<\/strong><\/p>\n","link_estreno":false,"scarica_file":false,"button":{"text":"","link":""},"referente_group":false,"data_emissione":"2023-06-30","autori":"S.
