    E-Highway2050 a comprehensive technical economic appraisal supporting long term grid development

    La presentazione riassume i principali risultati del progetto europeo e-Highway2050 sul tema della analisi costi-benefici (Cost-Benefit Analysis, CBA).

    The presentation summarizes the main achievement of the European project e-Highway2050 on the theme of cost-benefit analysis (CBA). First, an overview is provided of the theoretical CBA framework, that significantly extends the range of indicators characterized in a quantitative (monetary) way with respect to the current approaches (e.g. ENTSO-E).

    Then, there is an introduction to the toolbox, which is specifically created for automatize the apprication of the CBA staring from simulation scenarios. Finally, an overview of the application of CBA and toolbox to the pan-European network architectures at the target year 2050 is illustrated and general conclusions are drawn.
