L’utilizzo dei dati VIDEPI

L’utilizzo dei dati disponibili nell’ambito del progetto ViDEPI-Visibilità dei dati afferenti all’attività di esplorazione petrolifera in Italia, è descritto al fine di caratterizzare i potenziali serbatoi geologici per lo sfruttamento della geotermia, lo stoccaggio del gas naturale e CO2 e degli idrocarburi.

The documentation of ViDEPI Project about Visibility of petroleum exploration data in Italy is easily accessible via the official website of the Italian Ministry for Economic Development. These data represent an invaluable database for the characterization of Italian territory and the identification of deep geological reservoirs for the exploitation of hydrocarbons, gas and CO2 storage and exploitation of geothermal resources. The presentation describes the activities carried out by RSE for the geological characterization that includes an analysis of well data and seismic reflection sections to build detailed 3D geological structures that can be used for numerical simulation using the software GeoSIAM specially made by RSE to study the fluid-dynamic, geomechanical and geochemical aspects.
