    Smart Grid Cyber Security: the Value Of Risk

    Valore tecnico-economico della gestione del rischio cyber-power nelle smart grid. Apporto fornito alla valutazione tecnica del rischio dalle attività sperimentali.

    The presentation introduces the definition of Cyber Power Risk Index and its conceptual model to be applied for the cyber security analysis of the new smart grid control functions. After a brief reference to the technical and economic evaluation, the presenter explains the contribution to the technical risk assessment provided by the experimental activities conducted in the laboratory RSE PCS-ResTest. She presents the results of the attack experiments to the IPSEC/GOOSE communications of the anti-islanding protection mechanism and the ongoing studies on the impact of DER integration on the cyber security of SCADA systems for the medium voltage distribution grid.
