    Supporting the transition to a sustainable, secure and resilient energy system, considering its interaction with the environment and the territory, through modeling studies and experimental activities.

    The department deals with research, development and services in support of plant and infrastructure management witht the aim of improving the interaction between the energy system, the environment and the territory. SFE studies focus, inter alia, on the efficient and safe use and management of energy sources.
