PREVO Laboratory – PRosumer EVOluto

The PREVO Laboratory replicates a prosumer, that is, a household with local generation (photovoltaic plant), a storage system, and a wallbox for charging electric vehicles, all controlled by an energy management system.

The system architecture offers broad flexibility, as it also has a physical storage system simulator, which is exploited by functions to optimize energy produced, stored and consumed. The home automation system implemented can also participate in flexibility schemes, modulating withdrawals according to signals from the grid.
