Surface Discharge Visualizer (SDV)

Dashboard for displaying images of discharges and measurements on HV insulators (SW-2.04-1.04-1).


  
DESCRIPTION
The dashboard consists of a web page where you can watch videos of insulators emitting surface discharges due to surface contamination by saline solution, and at the same time measure the voltage and current values while recording the videos under control. The software requires videos in mp4 format and measurements in csv format. The dashboard allows the user to select the desired video, view the graph of measurements as a function of time, and extract interesting frames from the video for visual study of the surface discharge formation phenomenon. The Surface Discharge Visualizer (SDV) does not operate in real time, but it is a useful tool for comparing different data collected, whether images or time series.

Analysis of the behavior of insulators subjected to aging experiments by jointly examining video footage of surface discharge emission and current and voltage measurements.
