The ‘Hydrogen’ Knowledge Community discusses the analysis and study of solutions based on the use of hydrogen, both green and blue, to contribute to European energy, climate and environmental goals.

This includes examining legislative, and regulatory issues related to the use of hydrogen and associated technologies.

In addition, the Knowledge Community investigates solutions for safe and reliable energy supply in light of the increasing production from non-programmable renewable sources fed into the grid.
Due to its high energy density and the fact that it can be produced using renewable sources, hydrogen is a promising solution for the energy transition to a low-carbon future.

The Hydrogen Knowledge Community aims to promote the use of this resource as a key element in the transformation of the energy system, promoting sustainable management of energy resources and increased energy efficiency.
