Resilience

The ‘Resilience’ Knowledge Community discusses solutions to improve the resilience and adaptability of electro-energy systems to natural and man-made extreme events, while reducing the impact on critical infrastructure.

The KC’s approach aims to coordinate as best as possible all phases of system management, from long-term planning, through real-time operation, to operational scheduling.

This goal requires the search for coordinated solutions involving the use of innovative technologies, integrated management models, and efficient emergency response procedures.

In addition, the KC is concerned with identifying best practices and strategies for collaboration among the various players in the energy system, such as producers, distributors, end consumers, regulators, and public institutions, in order to ensure efficient and resilient management of increasingly complex and interconnected energy systems.
