Flexibility

The ‘Flexibility’ Knowledge Community aims to analyze, in its discussions, the flexibility needs and resources required for effective management of energy systems.

In particular, the features and needs of storage resources, such as air, gas, and hydrogen, as well as of electric mobility and demand response, are evaluated.
Automation solutions, including ICT technologies, aggregate management, and requirements monitoring are also explored, along with flexibility of energy transformation systems, such as P2X / X2P.

In addition, strategies for planning flexibility resources are analyzed, including the economics of flexibility services and solutions for improving the flexibility of traditional plants, including through hybrid solutions.

This results in a holistic approach to optimize existing resources and adapt to the needs of the energy system.
