A workshop entitled ‘A Model from Trentino for Renewable Energy Communities,’ organized by the Italian Provincial Agency for Water Resources and Energy (APRIE) and RSE, was held on February 16 in Trento, Italy, at the Palazzo della Provincia.

The day-long workshop was an opportunity to bring together managers of the Province, public administrations, investee companies and research organizations most involved in the topic to investigate the role of the Autonomous Province of Trento in this development process. The event was moderated by project leader Matteo Zulianello and Debora Cilio from RSE Energy Systems Development Department.

The workshop is part of the European Life+ Project Ecoempower, which started in September 2023 to support the creation of RECs, accompanying some pilot municipalities and defining the role of the Province.
