On July 10 in Rome, RSE took part in ‘Energy Security and Italian Competitiveness for an effective Decarbonisation’, the 2024 Annual Meeting of UNEM (Energy Union for Mobility). It was an opportunity to stimulate a discussion between institutions, political and business representatives on the prospects for Europe, and therefore Italy, and the future decarbonisation scenarios that impact the industrial competitiveness of our country.

In the first panel ‘Decarbonization. What scenarios?’, RSE CEO Franco Cotana started with an analysis of the Integrated Energy and Climate Plan (‘PNIEC’) ‒ in the design of which the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security (MASE) has been supported by RSE ‒ and delivered a wide-ranging presentation of the potential and development scenarios for biomass.
