Address the problems of flexibility, reliability and safety of electrical grids related to short-circuit currents through the study, creation and testing of SFCL – Superconducting Fault Current Limiter – current limiting devices based on the use of high-temperature superconductors, analyzing their potential for use in the electricity system from a technical and economic point of view.
