Studies on potential developments of renewable energy

The aim of the project is to provide studies, tools and methods for the evaluation of renewable energy technologies, for the optimization of plant management and their integration into the electricity grid, for the minimization of environmental impact and for the correct integration into the territory.

The resulting tools and methods will be tested and demonstrated in the laboratory and in the field on real cases. The project takes advantage of the synergy with numerous European research projects of which RSE is coordinator SEE HYDROPOWER (SEE 2009-2012 or partner ACQWA (7 FP), CLARIS LPB (7 FP), SHARE (Alpine Space Program 2009-2012), SMART (IEE 2008-2011).
