Community Energy Map

The Community Energy Map is the result of research, conducted by RSE and Luiss Business School, on the state of the art of energy communities in Italy. The volume contains various interpretations of the phenomenon and a snapshot of energy communities in Italy.

Through various research techniques (mapping, desk analysis, clustering, focus groups and interviews), the book presents a list of reflections on the innovative elements of the initiatives, focusing on local contexts and organizational characteristics. The final chapter outlines recommendations for policy makers and planners, aimed at developing energy communities to trigger virtuous processes of local economic development focused on the social and environmental impact generated in the areas.
