Cyber security standard and architectural assessment for a new digitized power infrastructure

This paper presents a methodology for analyzing cyber security requirements in terms of standards and architectural aspects needed to extend existing control infrastructures with new components and capabilities.

The methodology is illustrated by considering the cyber security aspects required for the integration—into an existing architecture—of a Regional Energy Management System with congestion management capabilities addressed by the European project H2020 OSMOSE.
