EV diffusion in South Tyrol: development of the charging infrastructure and assessment of its impact on the distribution network

The paper summarizes the results of the activities on the assessment of the effects of the future development of electric mobility and related charging infrastructure on the Edyna network (South Tyrol).

Strategies outlined at the national and European level aimed at increasing the sustainability of the energy sector include the promotion of alternative propulsion systems for public and private transport. In particular, the market share of electric mobility is expected to increase significantly in the coming years. The paper summarizes the results of activities to assess the effects of future development of electric mobility and related charging infrastructure on the Edyna network (South Tyrol).
