RSE at the 16th National Conference on Energy Efficiency

Focus on the Electrification of Energy Consumption.

On November 29, during the second day of the 16th National Conference on Energy Efficiency, organized by the Association of Friends of the Earth, RSE contributed technically with a presentation by Marco Borgarello, head of the “Energy Efficiency” Research Group at RSE’s Department of Energy Systems Development. The topic of his presentation was “Electricity Costs and Policies for the Electrification of Energy Consumption.”

The analysis focused on the challenges and opportunities related to the electrification of consumption, particularly through the use of heat pumps (HP) as the prevailing heating systems. Borgarello analyzed electricity costs and policies aimed at promoting the adoption of these innovative technologies.

Opening the conference was RSE’s CEO, Franco Cotana, who emphasized how these solutions represent a strategic lever for accelerating decarbonization and ensuring an effective and sustainable energy transition.
