RSE is taking part on February 27, at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, in the “Bifacial Tracking PV Systems” workshop, dedicated to bifacial photovoltaic systems with solar trackers, which are becoming increasingly widespread in the utility-scale PV sector.

The event, organized as part of IEA PVPS Task 13, will focus on technical topics related to the recent report “Best Practices for the Optimization of Bifacial Photovoltaic Tracking Systems”, to which RSE contributed, providing a detailed overview of best practices for optimizing the performance of these systems.

During the workshop, experts from IEA PVPS Task 13, PV module and tracker manufacturers, monitoring companies and PV plant developers will share their knowledge and perspectives to:

• disseminate the report’s findings and strategies for maximizing the performance of bifacial PV tracking systems;
• provide valuable information to developers, investors, insurers, and customers on best practices for these systems;
• foster dialogue among stakeholders and gather feedback to further improve the efficiency and reliability of installations.
