On March 11, 2025, the final event of the European project EU-MORE  took place in Brussels; Simone Maggiore was invited as speaker, as coordinator of the European project AUDIT2MEASURE.

The AUDIT2MEASURE project, funded under the LIFE-2021-CET program, has the goal to improve energy efficiency in the industrial sector by supporting companies in adopting the necessary audit measures to reduce energy consumption.

The European projects AUDIT2MEASURE and EU-MORE, together with the KNOWnNEBs project, all funded through the LIFE call, have created the LIFE x3 Cluster to start a collaboration process in a structured way.

By creating this LIFE x3 Cluster, these three projects have been able to collaborate fruitfully, to the satisfaction of the European Commission, pooling the skills developed on the topic of energy efficiency in the industrial sector and creating synergies that have allowed the issue to be addressed in a holistic manner.

One of the main results was the Policy Recommendation report, produced by the AUDIT2MEASURE project with the support of the other two projects, which tried to address the main challenges of the new Energy Efficiency Directive, in particular the new obligations under Article 11, and developed a series of recommendations to policy makers to support them in the implementation of the new directive.

During the event, Simone presented the first edition of the report, whose final version will be presented during the final conference of AUDIT2MEASURE scheduled in Berlin at the end of September.
