RESEARCH GROUP MISSION

To promote and develop the efficient use of energy through the analysis of technologies, solutions, laboratory experiences and case studies, as well as impact and governance assessments, across the civil, industrial, transport, and agricultural sectors. The group coordinates research activities with institutions, local authorities, and trade associations.

FIELDS OF ACTIVITY

  • Study of solutions for reducing building energy consumption
  • Analysis of efficiency and energy-saving measures in final consumption, circularity, and integration with renewable energy sources
  • Monitoring of industrial policies, mapping of technologies and the value chain for the energy transition, and their effects on the use of both energy and non-energy resources
  • Analysis of solutions and scenarios for sustainable mobility of passengers and freight
  • Cost-benefit evaluation—both for investors and at the national level—of efficient technologies for primary energy uses
  • Impact analysis, study of incentive mechanisms, and promotion of efficient energy use in final consumption
  • Dialogue and coordination with institutions and associations
  • Organization and promotion of information and communication events
