    • RESEARCH GROUP MISSION

    Developing and implementing electrical, thermal and mechanical laboratory test methodologies for performance, diagnostic and service life purposes on T&D network equipment and components, both in support of research and development activities and for third-party customers.

     

    ACTIVITY FIELDS

    • Laboratory experimentation of components and equipment for T&D systems
    • Tests on insulators and T&D line and station components (AC and DC pollution)
    • Tests on line conductors (mechanical, thermal, ..)
    • Diagnostic tests on cables and joints for MV networks. Tests on innovative materials and devices for LLW, conductors, cables and insulators
