    • RESEARCH GROUP MISSION

    Creating technical solutions, developing and testing measurement methodologies for T&D networks. Performing calibration activities of in-house and third-party instrumentation both in the laboratory and in the field. Managing the accredited laboratory for high voltage and high current measurement systems.

    • Studies and experiments on equipment and devices for safe maintenance of lines and stations
    • Development of methodologies and prototypes for electrical measurements for T&D systems
    • Methodologies and analysis of electrical measurements, ACCREDIA calibration center and metrology laboratory
    • Systems for diagnostics of major components of electrical distribution and transmission networks
    • Analysis of performance and aging process of network components: cables, couplings, transformers
    • Analysis of the performance of innovative cable and insulator materials (conductive coating, hydrophobic/self-cleaning insulators)
    • Behavior of photovoltaic modules in case of fire: analysis and experimentation
