The EPBD IV Conference, entitled ‘The role of Research and Training in the decarbonization process in the construction sector,’ took place on 28 October at the GSE Auditorium in Rome, to promote dialog between the academic world and the entities involved in this process: institutional, regulatory and research bodies, trade and cultural associations.

The meeting, organized by the Italian Technical Physics Association and sponsored by RSE, was opened by greetings from RSE CEO Franco Cotana, who underlined the importance of investing in research and training to support the decarbonization of the building sector, as well as the need for joint action between institutions and research for the sustainable development of the sector.
